Welcome to GPPS

The Greater Philadelphia Pain Society (GPPS) is a non-profit multidisciplinary organization dedicated to the study of prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of pain disorders and pain-related disability. GPPS is organized for the education and support of professionals and organizations concerned with pain and disability and of pain patients and their families. It also provides a focal point for GPPS professionals to collaborate and develop greater interdisciplinary perspectives.

A primary goal of GPPS is to promote communication and collaboration among professionals and organizations regarding current issues in pain and disability. GPPS programs have included annual educational meetings, professional seminars and dinner meetings, a newsletter and a speakers' bureau.

The GPPS membership is comprised of professionals from the fields of medicine, allied health, insurance, business and law. Members are welcome to serve on committees and participate in GPPS activities. Committees in which members have participated have included Education, Membership, Community Relations, Professional Affairs, Programs and Publications.
