Welcome to the Greater Philadelphia Pain Society web site. As a regional section of the American Pain Society, GPPS members are professionals from a wide range of disciplines including, but not limited to, medicine, psychology, social work, physical therapy, business and law. Regardless of background or specialty, the GPPS is an organization committed to supporting those who care for people in pain through education and a colleague network.

GPPS membership includes access to excellent educational opportunities for professionals in pain management, through our regular series of meetings and events. These meetings support our commitment to improving care and outcomes through education, as well as an opportunity to meet and dialogue with interdisciplinary colleagues who share a deep concern for people suffering from pain. GPPS programs have included professional seminars and dinner meetings, annual one-day educational meetings, and a speakers' bureau.
