Welcome to the Greater Philadelphia Pain Society web site. As a regional section of the American Pain Society, GPPS members are professionals from a wide range of disciplines including, but not limited to, medicine, insurance, business and law. Regardless of background or specialty, the GPPS is an organization committed to providing services and care for people in pain.

GPPS membership includes access to excellent educational opportunities for professionals in pain management, through our regular series of meetings and events. These meetings provide a forum in which you can meet colleagues who share a deep concern for people suffering from pain, and a commitment to improving care and outcomes. GPPS programs have included annual one-day educational meetings, professional seminars and dinner meetings, a newsletter and a speakers' bureau. We are very pleased that, in collaboration with MediCom Worldwide, we are able to obtain industry funding, meeting planning services and continuing education credits for some of our programs.

Please support GPPS with your membership dues, attendance at meetings, ideas for programs of interest to you, and your activity on committees. The Board of Directors welcomes your input at periodic open Board meetings designed to help shape the future of the Society.
